MurdoMACARTHUR - (DINGWALL, FORMERLY BREASCLETE)Murdo passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Friday 19th June 2026, aged 80 years.

Beloved husband of Ishbel, dearly loved father of Iain and Scott, father-in-law of Elaine and Elle and grandad (Shen) of Ella May. Murdo will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Funeral service to be held at Dingwall Free Church on Friday 3rd July 2026, commencing at 11.30 a.m., thereafter to Balintore New Cemetery. All friends respectfully invited.

Family flowers only please, but a donation, if desired, can be made at the service, or below for Marie Curie.

Murdo gave so much to so many, whether in his professional life as a teacher, church life as an elder in Dingwall Free Church, family life as a husband, father, grandfather etc and public life as a man who had time for everyone. I will reflect on all the happy times spent with Murdo, his enormous capacity for fun and good humour and that laugh! Rest in Peace Murdo, a life well lived.
